DOCMED is a basic insurance model. Your general practitioner is always your first point of contact for all health-related questions.

With the family doctor-centered model DOCMED upon health issues you first go to your trusted family doctor (see general practitioner directory) and therefore save premiums. Your doctor knows your medical history and adopts an optimal approach to your treatment. Your family doctor takes your opinion in consideration when determining the treatment and, if necessary, refers you to specialists or a hospital.

Exceptions prove the rule. In following cases your family doctor is not your first point of contact:

As well as a visit by the following specialists:

  • Optician
